Welcome to Lowrystarhorses.com, the home of Bower and Clark Performance
Horses.
Jim Bower and his family along with Tim Clark have been dedicated to
continuing and perpetuating the legacy of Lowry Star, and the versatile
Foundation Quarter Horse through their breeding program in

Lowry Star a (1976-2001) Blue Roan stallion was well known for his
ability to sire tremendous performance cow-horses, passing on the sought
after attributes of the Foundation Quarter Horses.
Bower & Clark Performance Horses base their business practices on a hand
shake backed by integrity and honesty, this coupled with an in depth
knowledge, of the American Quarter Horse and industry makes these two a
powerful team. With more than 35 years of experience in the performance
cow-horse business, Jim has raised, trained and supplied some of the
most outstanding rope horses on the market. Cowboys, cowgirls, rodeo
hands, and city slickers all over the country from California to New
York to North Carolina to Texas have purchased, used and developed a
high appreciation for these out-standing horses.
We would be happy, and will appreciate the opportunity to help match you
with the horse you need for your discipline, whether you’re roping in
the PRCA, at the neighbor’s branding calves or simply enjoying a
mountain trail we feel we have the horse for you.
