This Filly's papers boast some of the most well known bloodlines in the QH industry, including Colonel Freckles, Flipmia, Doc O’ Lena and Doc’s Jack Frost who sired both Drop Of Frost and Sun Frost. Crossing this mare with JR gave us last year’s top seller, a solidly built blue roan stud colt purchased by the Vasco family of Riverton, WY. Her full brother is already proving to be easy to work with and willing to please as a yearling and we can’t wait to see what he does as a stud. Lowry Ropn Dawn passes on her even-tempered disposition to her colts as does this filly’s sire, Pic N Plain. Both dam and sire are known for their easy going disposition. Pic’s temperament allows for him to be ridden by riders of any level, but he also has the get up and go needed to get the job done. In the past year, Pic Has been to AQHA shows earning points and doing well as a heel horse. We are sure his filly will have the same trainability of her sire and the versatility of a Lowry Star, allowing her to be enjoyed however you see fit.

Frosty Date is a half-sister to Lowry Star JR. Both horses share the same mother, Charm N Miss Kitty and this mare has inherited her mother’s talents for throwing outstanding prodigy. Her 2006 stud colt was the sale’s high seller going to Purina Clinicians Jody and Susan Cunningham of Texas. The Cunninghams’s were so pleased with the stud that they also purchased his full sister in the 2007 sale. This year’s filly is a full sister to the 2006-07 foals and shows just as much promise-don’t miss the chance to take her home.

Lowry Wyo Joy is in her second year of production at the Bower Arena; although she’s relatively new to our program, her breeding is not. She is a daughter of Lowry Star son, Wyo Grand Prize, who earned his reputation as an all around horse. He stands in Oklahoma where he calf and team ropes as well as works the ranch. Lowry Wyo Joy inherited her sire’s muscular build, solid confirmation and roan. This bay roan filly colt is sure to be a keeper.
