Casino Ropn Hancock, a 15.3 hand 1450
lb. buckskin, stands at the Bower farm
as a stud. He carries the mind, pedigree
and substance of his sire, Lowry Star.
He also boasts the bloodlines of other
greats, such as Seminole Charley and
Harlan, making him a fine representative
of the Foundation Quarter Horse. A
gentle giant, Roper has been used at
both ends in the roping arena. In 2003
he won the team-roping event in the
Super Stallion Competition at the Black
Hills Stock Show. He has also been shown
successfully in the annual Lowry Star
Classic team roping where his size and
strength give him a performance edge.
Roper began siring colts in 2001 and
throws a lot of color, even with bay and
sorrel mares. The majority of the colts
in his 2005 colt crop are buckskin, roan
or black. More importantly than color,
Roper passes on a distinguished
pedigree, a gentle mind and the size and
substance that are sure to impress.
